Work will commence this week on the long-anticipated rehabilitation of All Saints Road, as part of a broader push to upgrade national infrastructure, according to reports today.
Cabinet was advised on Wednesday that the Ministry of Works has already mobilised equipment, materials, and personnel to begin the project, which is expected to significantly improve road quality, safety, and drainage. The rehabilitation effort is one of several initiatives aimed at addressing longstanding challenges in the country’s road network.
Officials said the project aligns with the Government’s wider infrastructure development agenda, which has prioritised the modernisation of key transportation routes to support economic growth and improve daily life for residents.
Cabinet also confirmed that discussions will continue with Canadian firm AmDex regarding additional road rehabilitation projects, as authorities seek to expand the scope of infrastructure improvements nationwide.
Motorists and pedestrians have been urged to exercise caution and comply with traffic management measures during the construction period.
