The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) has successfully concluded its participation in the 62nd edition of TTG Travel Experience, Italy’s leading international tourism trade fair, held in Rimini. The event provided a key platform for the twin-island destination to strengthen its visibility in the Italian travel market and deepen relationships with tour operators and travel agencies across Europe.
During the three-day fair, the Antigua and Barbuda delegation conducted more than 25 business meetings with top Italian travel agencies and tour operators, while the destination’s exhibition stand welcomed over 350 visitors — a strong indicator of the growing interest in Antigua and Barbuda among Italian travelers.
Representing the destination were Cherrie Osborne, Director of Tourism UK & Europe at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority; Alex Emiliani, founder of destination management company Antigua Chiama Italia; and Tiziano Rosignoli, Sales Manager of Passion Village Antigua, a luxury villa and apartment complex catering to high-end European clients.
The participation at TTG Travel Experience underscores the destination’s ongoing strategy to expand its European reach through strategic partnerships, brand awareness initiatives, and enhanced connectivity.
A key announcement made during the event was the resumption of Condor’s direct flight between Frankfurt and Antigua, scheduled to begin on November 4, 2025. The service will provide seamless access for travelers across Europe, including Italy, through convenient connections from several major Italian cities, including Milan Malpensa, under Condor’s codeshare agreements.
Tourism officials hailed the development as a major boost to Antigua and Barbuda’s European airlift, reinforcing its position as one of the Caribbean’s premier luxury and leisure destinations.
