Cabinet Welcomes New St. Philip’s North Representative, Praises National Debating Team

The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda has welcomed Randy Baltimore following his recent election as representative for the St. Philip’s North constituency, signalling the start of a collaborative approach to constituency development.

Baltimore, who secured a decisive victory in Monday’s primary, met with Cabinet to discuss priorities including housing, infrastructure, and community development initiatives.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne congratulated Baltimore and indicated that further announcements regarding his appointments would be made in the coming week. In the interim, he has been appointed Chairman of the Central Housing and Planning Authority and continues to lead the Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board.

Cabinet also took the opportunity to commend the country’s National Debating Team for winning the Leeward Islands Debating Championship, describing the achievement as a testament to the talent and dedication of the nation’s youth.

Officials said the Government remains committed to supporting youth development and excellence in education and extracurricular activities.
